Further decline in various edible oils


Cotton prices in the US fell to a six-week low

(Gujarat News Office) MUMBAI: Prices of various domestic and imported edible oils declined in the Mumbai Oilseeds market today. The new demand was wing. The weather in the world market, however, was mixed. Palm oil futures in Malaysia were up 3 points today.

In the Mumbai flour market today, the price of castor flour fell by Rs 500 per tonne, while the price of groundnut flour fell by Rs 1,000 and that of soymeal flour fell by Rs 2,000. The others, however, were quiet.

In the Mumbai market, soyoil prices fell to Rs 1,150 for digam and Rs 1,415 for ref, while sunflower was priced at Rs 1,200 and Rs 150 for ref. Mustard was quoted at Rs 1,200 and Rifa at Rs 150. The price of rice bran was quoted at Rs. Coparel prices were hitting Rs 1,200 per 10 kg.

Meanwhile, at Mundra-Hazira, various deliveries were being offered at Rs 115 to Rs 115 for palm oil, Rs 1,200 to Rs 1,310 for soyoil and Rs 150 to Rs 12 for sunflower.
