Key Ingredients and Properties Used for Candle Making

Paraffin wax:

- Paraffin wax property: white, tasteless, odorless. Solid, hydrocarbon, high molecular weight.

- Soluble: Benzene, Legroin, Worm Alcohol, Chloroform Turpentine, Carbon Disulfide, Petroleum Oil, Olive Oil.

- In soluble: does not dissolve in water, acid.

- Uses: Paraffin wax is used in candles, paper coatings, protective sealants, food products, breweries, lubricants, insulation, floor and car polishes, cosmetics, photography, tobacco packaging, matches, sugar refineries etc. And is non-toxic.

- Stearic acid: This is a type of fatty acid. It is obtained from animal fat as well as vegetable fat. Excessive commercial stearic acid contains palmitic acid - 3% and oleic acid - 3%. But excessive commercial stearic acid is used.

Candle key-ingredients: paraffin wax, stearic acid and warp.

How to make: First make small pieces of paraffin wax, get stearic acid in it then heat these two chemicals, by heating this chemical it will come in liquid form. The liquid is then poured into a warp mold. When it cools, the candle is ready.

- Fluorescent solvent soluble color is used to make coloring candles. Perfume compounds, as well as fragrances, are used to make scented candles.

Note: Candle making molds are available. Which has proven to be excellent for small production. Auto cold bath lighting machines for large production can be made to order.
