Fear of re-corona outbreaks in the UK disrupting global growth

New York, Ta. 21 December 2020, Monday

Newly-announced Corona strains in the UK have led to the announcement of a sharp lockdown in Britain, with other countries, including Europe, imposing stricter restrictions on trade with the UK, adversely affecting global economic growth and disrupting recent activity.

With the emergence of a new form of Corona in Britain, a drastic lockdown has been announced in the southwest of England, including London, where its transition is accelerating. In addition, the Netherlands and Italy are also in the process of re-implementing the lockdown, as well as other European countries.

Thus, the newly implemented lockdown has hampered the growth of the global economy and raised fears of a resurgence of economic activity in European countries. Other countries around the world have also reportedly imposed restrictions on trade with the UK, which will adversely affect various businesses.

The sudden imposition of drastic restrictions will adversely affect the recent business deals and create a hostile environment for health issues. The new virus is said to have infected more than 90 per cent of people in London. The United States, on the other hand, has seen an increase in new cases.

The re-emergence of the infection has raised questions about the effectiveness of the corona vaccine, as well as many other side effects. All these adversities will have a direct impact on global growth. Adverse conditions will also arise in making policy decisions on this issue.
