Cottonseed and cottonseed oil pile up: duty on imported tariffs increases tariff value
Mumbai, Ta. New Delhi, Nov 30 (PTI): The high price trend in Palmtal today witnessed new highs. However, Singtel prices were soft again. Palmetal prices were hiked by Rs 5 a hawala resale today while JNPT was Rs. Hawala resell traded at 5 to 5 tonnes.
While the direct delivery trade of refineries was around 2 to 5 tonnes for December delivery, there were directives for about 5 to 5 tonnes. The prices of crude palm oil CPO Kandla were up by Rs 7 while in the futures market, CPO futures prices were at Rs 5 and Rs 6 on soybean futures.
In the world market, US-Chicago soybean futures were up 5 to 5 points overnight, while soybean futures were 3 to 5 points soft, while soybean futures remained 5 to 5 points higher at night against New York cotton futures overnight news. The news of the rise of disagreement between China and the United States was showing the impact on US agricultural markets. Meanwhile, there were reports of the government increasing the tariff value used as a benchmark for importing various food items imported into India.
Following this, there was news of an increase in the effective import duty of imported edible oils and its impact on the domestic price of imported foodstuffs. Such tariff value has been reported at $ 5.45 million for crude palm oil CPOs while RBD Palmoline's has been reduced by $ 5 to $ 5.
Following this, the effective import tariff of CPOs has increased from Rs. 1 to 5 per tonne whereas against Palmoline has increased by Rs.
Meanwhile, market prices were showing today that the demand for new palmetto was slowing down as prices cooled down in Palmetal and now cold days are coming up ahead. In the Mumbai market, Singtel prices were at Rs 5 per kg, while Rajkot side was down by Rs 5 to Rs 5 and Rs 5 per kg was reduced to Rs 5 while cotton washed up by Rs. An increase of Rs.

Soybean arrivals were reported this afternoon at around 2.5 million times nationwide.
Out of which, the arrivals from Madhya Pradesh came to about one and a half million times and the price remained at Rs 1 to 3. There, soyatail prices today remained at Rs 5 to Rs 5 and refined at Rs 5 to Rs 5. Groundnut arrivals this morning were reported at around 3 thousand times on Gondal side and 3 thousand times on Rajkot side, and the present prices of groundnut were 5 to 5 kg in Jatavar.
