The day started with lock-down today. The Sensex continued to tumble from the opening of 27608.80 against the next close of 29915.96, with ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, HDFC Limited, State Bank of India and TechCo, among others, along with ICICI Bank. Shares include Power Grid Corp., Larson & Toubro, NTPC, Reliance Industries, Nestlé India, Hindu Sensex, including Saturn Unilever, Titan, Tata Steel, ONGC, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Hero MotoCorp, fell 10 per cent lower to 26924 levels. After 45 minutes, it reopened at one point, losing 4035.13 points, to 25880.83, but hammering despite a slight short cover, 3939.72 points was finally closed at four-year low of 25981.24.

After the Nifty initial 10 percent circuit, the intra-day 1162 points were reduced to 7583 and then the 1135 points were broken at 7610.

The NSE Nifty spot opened at 7945.70 against the previous close of 8745.45 with a 45 percent market shutdown after a 10 percent breakdown in erosion. Which was a normal recovery after reopening, but at one point in Kadaka, 1161.85 points were broken down to 7583.60 and finally closed at 1135.20 points and closed at 7610.25.

Axis Bank breaks Rs.120 to Rs 308: IndusInd Bank breaks Rs.103 to Rs.333: HDFC Bank breaks Rs112 to Rs.770

Funds hit the panic button today amid the crisis of banking-finance companies and a number of banks, finance companies waking up in the coming days. Axis Bank broke down Rs.1120 to Rs. 308.35, Federal Bank broke Rs.103.40 to Rs. 336.55, City Union Bank to Rs. 32.65 to Rs. , State Bank of India broke down by Rs 28.05, to Rs 181.60, HDFC Bank to Rs111.90 and Rs.770.50 to Kotak Mahindra Bank.
