Prices of various edible oils rose in the world market
(Gujarat News Office) MUMBAI: The price of cingulum oil in the Mumbai oilseeds market fell further by Rs 15 per 10 kg to Rs 150 today. There was news that the price of cingulum oil fell to Rs 2,130 per kg and Rs 40-50 per 15 kg.
However, there were indications that the prices of cotton washed were hovering above Rs. In the Mumbai market, cottonseed oil was trading at Rs 150. Crude palm oil CPO Kandla was priced at Rs 115 to Rs 115. In the futures market, CPO prices rose by Rs 10 to Rs 115.50 this evening, while soyoil futures rose by Rs 19.50 to Rs 1,307.50. Soybean futures were quoted at Rs 15 to Rs 150 per kg.
In the US agricultural markets, soybean prices rose 4 points in projection this evening while soybean prices rose in projection. Soymeal prices, however, remained in the negative today.
Meanwhile, according to news from Germany, the use of palm oil in biofuels will be stopped with effect from 202. CPO production in Malaysia was reported to have declined by 0.5 per cent in 30 days. There were reports of palm oil futures rising 110, 12, 13 and 14 points today.
Palm oil prices rose in the Chinese market today while soyoil prices fell. The soybean crop in the country, which stood at 12.5 lakh tonnes last year, is expected to fall by 1.5 lakh tonnes this year, according to government estimates. While the mustard crop is 101 lakh tonnes, the new crop of castor is 12.31 lakh tonnes, the kharif crop of groundnut is less than last year while the cotton crop is 8% higher.
Meanwhile, in the Mumbai spot market, soyoil prices fell to Rs 150 for digam and Rs 150 for ref. While the price of sunflower fell to Rs. 1200 and Rs.
