The number of millionaire taxpayers increased 20 percent to 97,689 in the assessment year 2018-19

According to the tax return data released by the Revenue Department, the number of millionaire taxpayers in the assessment year 6-8 is 5% to 5% of the tenants.

It is worth mentioning that the number of personal taxpayers showing income of more than one crore in the assessment year 1-5 was 6,3.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes has issued fiscal year 5-7 time series data and income distribution data for fiscal year 0-5.

This data shows the income distribution information of corporate, generations, non-Hindu families and individuals.
