Double investment by Indian companies abroad during the month of June


New Delhi: Amid global global Delta variant virus terror, Indian companies have reportedly doubled overseas investment in June compared to last year.

During June, Indian companies had invested ૨ 2.50 billion abroad. It had invested ૩૯ 1.6 billion in June last year. Of the investments made by Indian companies abroad in June, ૭ 1.18 billion was in the form of guaranteed loans of ૨ 1.61 billion and શેર 2.8 million in the form of share capital.

Tata Power has invested 171.10 million in its Mauritius-based company. In Singapore, Reliance Industries invested ૬ 25 million in agriculture and mining, while ONGC invested 25 million abroad in Mozambique.

Foreign investors have invested Rs. 316 crore withdrawn

Amid increased volatility in the stock market, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) outperformed the stock market by Rs. 316 crore has been withdrawn.
