Industrial production dropped 4.3% in September

Industrial production decline remains unchanged In September, industrial production declined 4.3% compared to the previous year. According to official data released on Monday, industrial output has declined due to poor performance of the manufacturing sector. Factory output increased 4.6% last year.

The manufacturing sector declined by 3.9% in the month of September. September was up 4.8% last year. The power sector also declined 2.6% in September. This was an increase of 8.2% over the same period last year. The mining sector also declined by 8.5% in September. The mining sector grew 0.1% in September last year.
