Indo-China bilateral trade will reach 100 100 billion amid sour relations


Mumbai: Despite the border dispute, bilateral trade between India and China is set to cross a record ૧ 100 billion this year. In the first six months of this year alone, trade between the two countries has reached 60 billion.

China's total imports and exports with India grew by 2.50 per cent year-on-year to ડો 2.8 trillion in the first six months of 2021, according to official Chinese data.

Compared to the first nine months of 2017, this figure has increased by 2.50%. Bilateral trade between the two countries has reached ૩૭ 20.8 billion, an increase of 2.50 per cent year-on-year.

China's exports to India grew by 31.50 per cent year-on-year to 2.7 billion. During the second wave of corona in India in April and May, large quantities of oxygen concentrators were imported from China.

India's exports to China grew by 3.50 per cent to 21.31 billion. India's trade deficit with China has reached a worrying level with 2.7 billion. With three months to go until the end of 2021, trade between the two countries is expected to reach 100 billion.
