Peanut oil prices rise again: Castor and castor oil prices rise
(Gujarat News Office) MUMBAI: In the Mumbai oilseeds market, cingulum oil prices rose again today on the back of stagnation while cottonseed oil continued to decline. Meanwhile, prices of imported edible oils were higher today. The futures market was also bullish. Castor and castor markets saw a slowdown today.

Direct refineries in palm oil today traded 500 to 200 tonnes at the refinery for delivery till November 8 at Rs 1,505. There were sporadic trades in hawala resale. Crude palm oil CPO Kandla was quoted at Rs 1,150. In the futures market, CPO prices rose by Rs 115.50 and soyoil futures by Rs 19.50, while soybean futures rose by two and a half cents.
In the Mumbai spot market, the price of soyoil rose to Rs 15 from Digam, Rs 1,205 from Rifa, Rs 150 from Sunflower and Rs 150 from Rifa. Mustard was priced at Rs 150 and Rifa at Rs 150. In the Mumbai flour market, soymeal and castor meal prices remained soft at Rs 500 to Rs 700 per tonne today. While others were quiet.
