Steel production waste will be composted

The company tried this at its plant in Jharkhand and it proved successful. As this waste contains calcium, sulphur, silica, iron, magnesium, boron, molybdenum, phosphorus and zinc, along with crops, the farm soil will also get enough nutrients. The informants said that this will also reduce the cost of fertilizer. This innovative fertilizer is currently being successfully used by farmers in seven states.
