Dussehra-to-Dusshera: Rs.10,000 per annum increase in gold


MUMBAI: Gold and silver prices in the Mumbai jewelery market today on the eve of Dussehra remained on the decline from the highs. As the prices fell, market experts were hoping that Dussehra seasonal demand would be higher than expected. World market news was showing a decline from a bullish head. It was discussed that selling of funds increased due to rise in gold in the world market. The price of gold in the world market was low from 1969 to 1970 to 1977 to 1978 dollars per ounce. Behind gold, global silver prices were also lower at 23.03 to 23.11 to 23.12 dollars per ounce.

Meanwhile, in the Mumbai market today, gold prices without GST were Rs 60,369 to Rs 60,455 from Rs 60,520 at Rs 99.50 per 10 grams. While the price of 99.90 was Rs.60840 to Rs.60612 to Rs.60698. Mumbai silver prices opened at Rs.74286 and closed at Rs.72094 after closing at Rs.72450 per kg without GST. In Mumbai gold and silver prices including GST were 3 percent higher than this price. Meanwhile, gold prices were Rs.50,800 during Dussehra last year and Rs.28,350 during Dussehra 10 years ago. In view of this, the market experts were saying that there has been an increase in the price of gold by around Rs.9700 to Rs.9800 in one year if we consider Dussehra-to-Dussehra. were In a period of 10 years, such price increase has been recorded as around Rs.32150 to Rs.32200. Meanwhile, in the world market today, platinum prices were 890 to 902 to 903 dollars per ounce while palladium prices were 1088 to 1124 to 1125 dollars. Global copper prices were showing marginal price growth today.

Meanwhile, crude oil prices were soft in the world market. Brent crude prices were lower at $91.08 to $92.03 a barrel while US crude prices were lower at $86.83 to $87.84. In the Ahmedabad market today, silver prices fell by Rs.1500 to Rs.73000 per kg. Ahmedabad gold prices were being discussed at Rs.62500 of 99.50 and Rs.62700 of 99.90.
