Continued advance in single oil and cottonseed oil

Mumbai: Singoil prices continued to recover slowly in the Mumbai oilseeds market today. Cottonseed oil was also raised. Imported edible oils, however, were soft. Malaysia palm oil was down. New demand was slow. US Soya Oil price projections increased by 35 points.

In Saurashtra, the price of single oil was Rs.1550 and cotton washed was Rs.865 to 870. In the present market of Mumbai, the price of 10 kg of castor oil increased by Rs.1570 and cotton oil increased by Rs.940. The price of imported palm oil fell to Rs.818.

The price of crude palm oil CPO kandla was Rs.780. The prices of Mumbai soybean oil were Rs.865 for digum and Rs.920 for refined, while the prices for sunflower were Rs.855 and Rs.915 for refined. Castor futures prices fell from Rs.64 to Rs.65. Spot castor fell by Rs.40 while spot diwali prices were Rs.8 soft.

Meanwhile, palm oil futures in Malaysia fell 50 points in the world market today while palm product prices fell by $5. The revenue of mustard increased two and a half lakh times in Rajasthan and five lakh times in All India. Prices in Rajasthan were Rs.6000 to Rs.6025 per kw.

At Mundra Hazira till November 7, the prices of palm oil were Rs.820 to 830 and soya oil was Rs.910 to 920 while sunflower prices were Rs.915 to 925. The price of soybean oil till November 20 was Rs.915 to Rs.925. At Saurashtra Gondal, the price of cotton refined was Rs.915 to 920 and that of palm oil was Rs.815 to 817 and that of soybean oil was Rs.900.

In Madhya-Pradesh, the price of refined soybean oil was between Rs.906 and 930 per annum. The prices of palm oil and soybean oil remained positive in Chinese markets today. Meanwhile, soybean income increased by 3 lakh 50 thousand times in Madhya Pradesh and 3 lakh 80 thousand times in Maharashtra while all India income increased by 9 lakh 20 thousand times. In Madhya Pradesh, the prices were Rs.4800 to Rs.5050.

The price of Ukraine sunflower at Navi Mumbai port was Rs.850. Soybean prices in the world market rose to a one-and-a-half-month high. In some areas in Brazil, due to El Nino effect, soybean planting was affected. The weather agencies of America have predicted that the effect of Super El Nino will occur next year.
