Where is the recession? Sales of Indian cars increased worldwide, the figures revealed

On the one hand, where the economic downturn has come, promising news has been heard for the Indian automobile sector, sales of Indian cars have increased, passenger vehicle exports increased by 5.89 percent to 5,40,384 in the first nine months of FY 2019-20.

According to data from the Association of Vehicle Manufacturers, Siam, Hondai Motor exported the largest number of 1.45 lakh passenger vehicles during this period.

According to SIAM data, passenger vehicle exports during the first 9 months of the financial year stood at 5,40,384 units, as against 5,10,305 units in the same period of the previous financial year.

Car exports increased by 4.44 percent, while van dropped

During the period, exports increased 4.44 percent to 4,04,552 units, while exports of utility vehicles increased by 11.14 percent to 1,33,511 units, while van exports declined 17.4 percent to 2,321 units from 2,810 units.

The South Korean company exported 1.44,982 passenger vehicles during the review period, an increase of 15.17 percent over the same period last year, with exports to 90 countries in Africa, West Asia, Latin America, Australia and Asia Pacific.

Ford India's exports fall in April-December

According to Hyundai Motor India, with a total export of 1,44,982 units and a market share of 26.8%, Hyundai has once again retained its top position in the export market.

On the other hand, in terms of Ford India, Ford India's exports declined by 12.57 percent to 1,06,084 units during the April-December period, while Maruti Suzuki India's exports to the domestic car market declined 1.7 percent to 75,948 units.

Mahindra & Mahindra exports 10,017 vehicles

While Nissan Motor India's exports increased by 39.97 percent to 60,739 units in the review period, General Motors exports were 54,863 units, General Motors has stopped selling vehicles in the domestic market.

Exports of Volkswagen stood at 47021 units in April-December, Kia Motors India's exports were 12,496 units and Renault India's exports were 12,096 units, while the local vehicle mahindra and Mahindra's exports were 10,017 units,
