India's foreign exchange reserves hit record highs

The country's foreign exchange funds rose $ 94.3 million to $ 462.16 billion, setting a new record, according to data released by the Reserve Bank recently.

Meanwhile, the gold reserves also increased by $ 700 million to $ 28.56 billion. During the week, the special drawing rights in international currency reserves increased by $ 2.5 million to 1.45.
While IMF's reserves increased by $ 3 million to $ 3.70 billion in the IMF, the RBI said foreign exchange funds also included euros, pounds, and Japanese yen.
