Mumbai: Gold and silver prices in the Mumbai jewelery market today fell sharply after opening higher at the beginning. Meanwhile, in the Ahmedabad jewelery market today, gold prices fell by Rs.200 per 10 grams to Rs.51,300 at 99.50 and Rs.51,500 at 99.90 while Ahmedabad silver prices fell by Rs.500 to Rs.57,500 per kg.

In the world market, platinum prices were 911 to 912 873 to 874 dollars per ounce while palladium prices were 2088 to 2089 dollars with 2170 to 2171 dollars.

Crude oil prices also fell in the world market. New York crude prices were at a low of 80.35 to 80.67 dollars a barrel today at 84.49, while Brent crude prices were pointing to a low of 91.45 dollars at 87.41 to 87.84 dollars. There was a new demand. The impact of the dollar's strength was reflected in global crude oil prices. Meanwhile, global copper prices fell by 3.80 percent today.

In the Mumbai jewelery market today, gold prices opened at Rs.49,877 at Rs.49,694 at Rs.99.50 and opened at Rs.49,234 at Rs.99.90 at Rs.50078 at Rs.49,432 at Rs.49,432 at Rs.57,343 without GST. Rs.57622 opened and Rs.56100 closed. In Mumbai gold and silver prices including GST were 3 percent higher than this price.
