Niti Aayog is thinking, shares, crude, trading in water like gold!

Currently, financial assets like shares, rupees, cryptos or bonds and commodities like gold, crude oil, edible oil etc. are being traded on the exchange in spot and futures.
A discussion paper for this type of trading in water is being worked on by the Government of India's NITI Aayog. Depending on the public's response to this letter, the government is likely to start a special exchange for water trading in the future or allow it in the existing exchange itself.
In any futures, a trader buys on the assumption that the price will rise in the future, while the other person sells on the assumption that the price will fall or that he is making a profit. Futures have a fixed term, where delivery is fixed and some futures have no delivery at all. Only profit or loss is settled in cash.
Currently, water futures are running in Chicago in America. Water trading is also done in this way in Australia.
Water is used in India for agriculture, industry and domestic consumption. But water scarcity remains due to wastage of water, poor sewage disposal policy and other problems. If a market is created for water and those who need it are willing to pay for it, investors can also come in areas like water storage, recycling and reuse of waste water.
