Aroma chemicals are one of the characters important constituents and properties of aroma. Aromas are attention-grabbing, nominative, distinctive flavors and fragrances. It is used in flavor compositions such as vanillin, citronilla and its esters, zeraniol / nerol and its esters, linalool and its esters, L-menthol and terpineol and its esters.

Aroma chemicals are used to make fragrances. A growing word population and increasing food farming will require large amounts of labor and space. For large production, the need for natural sources, such as flowers, and labor costs can be very important. Very important oils like sandalwood or its trees are in very small quantities. And along with it comes political reasons.

Currently synthetic varieties are available from reasonable sources through petrochemicals. In which the following four products are classified for Aromatic Chemicals, Flavors and Fragrances in Aero. including venzinoides, turpentine oil or turpentine musk chemicals and misc.

Other products include natural aroma chemicals derived from essential oils, oleoresins and other natural extracts. Another type of synthetic aroma chemicals is obtained by a different technology. Benzyl Benzoate: Benzyl benzoate is a chemical similar to benzyl acetate. It is used for confectionery and chewing gum.

Benzyl salicylate: Benzyl salicylate is obtained by condensation of benzyl chloride and sodium salicylate. It is used as a fruit-flavor.

Methyl Salicylate : Methyl salicylate is obtained by esterification of salicylic acid. It is used in root-beer mouthwash chewing gum.

Raspberry Ketone : 1-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-3-butanone : which is obtained by condensation of p-hydroxy benzaldehyde with ketone. Alternatively, phenol and methyl vinyl ketone are obtained by hydrogenation or Friedel Fraft.

* A-amyl minamaldehyde : which is obtained by alkaline condensation of heptane. Benzaldehyde is used as imitation apple, apricot, peach, strawberry flavors. Also used as a jasmine note as a fragrance. Which can be used in soap, detergent.

Methyl benzoate : Obtained by esterification of benzoic acid. It is used in flavors and fragrances. Its order is of fruity type. Also there are types of green notes.

Citral : Natural citral is obtained from lemon grass oil through an extraction plant. Citral is used as lemon in soaps and detergents.
