The war was won by a single mother running a company with a debt of 7000 crores

- After the owner of Cafe Coffeeday committed suicide, his wife and mother of two, Malvika Hegde, took the helm and kept her husband's dream project alive.

- An example can be given of Lalit Suri of Jyots of Bharat Hotels, Anu Aga of Thermax, Harjit Kaur of La Meridien when the owner of the Washington Post died and his wife Kathryn got depressed and took over the business instead of selling it.

- Malvika's struggle is amazing. The three Manunis given here have truly preserved their husband's legacy amidst many obstacles...

- All the banks that were issuing notices for the loan at the time of Malvika's husband's death are paying her money today.

The wife is proving to be smarter than the husband in successful leadership in the business sector. There are many companies in the business sector in which if the head of the house leaves suddenly for any reason, the entire burden of the business falls on the head's wife or the children of the house. In such circumstances, very few family members including wife or children who are considered close can face the situation. Many families sell businesses or wind up loss-making companies to woo investors, but in reputed companies, when the business man husband dies suddenly, his wife takes the husband's dream project forward and achieves success without getting depressed.

Some cases become exemplary for those involved in the business sector. When the husband who manages the multi-crore business dies suddenly, the wife feels devastated. In such a difficult time, all women say that it is God's will, but some women are determined to face the situation. Wives of businessmen whose business is profitable easily take over the throne but in some cases there are instances where the wife has proved to be powerful even in cases where the debt is as big as a mountain and there is a line of creditors.

Among the reputed companies in India and the world, it has been seen that after Mobhi's sudden death, his wife has successfully taken over the helm of the company.

An example can be given of Lalit Suri of Jyots of Bharat Hotels (today's The Lalit), Anu Aga of Thermax, Harjit Kaur of La Meridien, when the owner of the Washington Post died, his wife Kathryn became depressed and took over the business instead of selling it.

Anu Agha, while giving a lecture in a business school in Spain, said that I had no choice but to become the CEO of the company. When I took over the helm of the company, there was an economic recession in India which affected our successful company as well. The share price of our company was Rs 400 and it fell to Rs 37. After the death of my husband my 25 year old son died in a car accident. However, I did not waver and managed the company.

Anu Agha said that before taking charge of my company, I went to Vipassana camp for 10 days. Due to which my inner strength increased.

Jyotsana Suri made The Lalit famous by naming the India Hotel after her husband. Anu Aga and Jyotsna Suri staked the trust of the company's loyalists as well as the youth. Anu Aga and Jyotsna Suri was relieved that she had been watching her husband's business from the beginning, but Malvika Hegde was a complete novice to the business.

The latest example of such a case in India can be given that of Malvika Hegde. When her husband VG Siddharth, who was running a famous brand and company like Cafe Coffee Day, committed suicide by jumping into the river (2019), the debt of the company was 7000 crores, Malvika was in mourning but the debt of 7000 crores echoed in her mind. Undaunted, he strove to rebuild the business.

Initially he partnered with two companies to reduce the debt pile. He won the trust of his company's staff. A total of 25,000 people work at Cafe Coffee Day. Malvika's father is former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna. Back in the Covid-19, Cafe Coffee Day was hit hard, but Malvika persevered and today the company is running in profit and old debt is being written off.

Malvika's struggle is amazing. The three Manunis given here have truly preserved their husband's legacy amidst many obstacles.

If you look around you will find many such cases. But they rarely come to light. Malvika's case is being highlighted because all the banks that were issuing notices for the loan at the time of her husband's death are now paying her.

We find that under normal circumstances in the middle class, the wife cannot interfere much in the business. In such cases, the wife does not know anything about the account book of the husband due to which the close relatives loot everything after the death of the husband. In many cases, the family of a businessman living in Jahojlali is devastated after the sudden death of the deceased.

That is why the experts say that the details of your business should be known to the family, especially the wife. In today's times and due to uncertain life, one should also tell who are the enemies and friends in business dealings with the wife.

- Reasons behind the power that a business woman gets after the sudden departure of her husband...

The strong courage needed to take over the husband's business in difficult circumstances is not found in any market nor is any relative willing to stand by. But there are many issues that instill strength in a woman and teach her to face challenges.

1...Inner strength to act...Inner strength comes out when the question of existence arises. When the children are young and studying and unable to take care of the business, the hidden power within the mother comes out and she takes the helm.

2...Tane nahi fave...Tane nahi fave, the woman gets tired of hearing that it is not our job and suddenly she feels like showing her prowess to everyone and gets ready to take the helm.

3....husband's dream.. He knows how many difficulties the husband has faced in setting up the business. She is not ready to give up her husband's dream project and gets ready to take over the business amid all the opposition.

4...Struggle and Struggle....Bhiro Bhadra does not feel like handing over the business to someone else and accepts to struggle till the children grow up to take over the business.
