With economic development, the quality of health and education should increase

- Political parties make greedy promises to people to get power

Education and health services in India are still incomplete. The argument that primary and secondary education, which is the responsibility of the states, is the responsibility of the center and therefore we cannot interfere with it, is weakly lame. India's current estimated population of 142 crores will become its greatest asset only when India has a primary secondary school system similar to that of European countries and America, with 100 percent literacy. What is the reason why thousands of primary or secondary schools in the states of India (including Gujarat state) have shortage of teachers and they are not sufficient?

The education system and health system in India is so weak that the average life expectancy of Indian people is only 70 years while it has reached over 80 years in European countries and America. If India doesn't eliminate the massive subsidy on grain, gas, almost free electricity for farmers and fertilizers, but halve it and stop the free food grain that is given to 800 million people to some extent, we will have thousands of Harrow and Cambridge schools in the country. can establish Why can't every multinational company in India set up some prestigious universities (like Harvard and MIT or Standard)? Of course, Ambani, Azam Premji, Kasturbhai Lalbhai Group and especially Tata and Birla Group have provided excellence in the field of education but why can't that village become famous for its primary and secondary education when almost every barren village in the country has a magnificent school. ? Institutions imparting education from primary education to university are of great repute in Gujarat such as Lokjagriti Group of Ahmedabad, GLS Group, KS. Shastri group who are entrusted with the responsibility of primary education to university education in Gujarat and its government intervention is zero, Gujarat can become a 'model state' in terms of education. Now education and government hospitals need to be overcrowded. In Gujarat and especially in cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar etc. there are independent educational institutes, then the management of government primary schools can't be entrusted to them? The Governments of the country (Centre and States) do not know how to run primary schools, otherwise (eg) there would be a shortage of thousands of teachers in primary schools in Gujarat. In short, decentralization of primary education in India seems to improve it. India's biggest problem right now is that the record of primary education is 'poor learning-outcome' and the report of India's 'health card' is not good either.

Indian politics is now becoming populist. Every political party makes greedy promises to the people to get power. If the increase in procurement prices of paddy and wheat by the government is used for modernization of primary schools, thousands of Harrow and Cambridge schools can be established in the country. The concept of opportunity cost is very valuable in economics, if you spend money on an unnecessary good or service and not spend on absolutely essential services, the opportunity cost increases a lot.

It is a matter of satisfaction that India's economy is rosy and it is humming along with economic growth of 6-7% but the central and state governments of India should create a welfare state where the average life expectancy of the people will be 85 years like in Japan and the people will have nothing to spend on health and education. If you don't have to worry, a high economic growth rate is expected. If a large part of the budget is used for education and health and other things except national security are considered secondary, India's high economic growth rate will benefit the people and avoid the fact that India has the highest number of poor people in the world.
