MUMBAI: New demand was strong in the Mumbai oilseeds market today, with prices sluggish. In Malaysia, palm oil futures fell 3 points. In Mumbai, the market price was Rs 120 per 10 kg of cingulum oil, Rs 15 for cottonseed oil, Rs 15-150 for soybean oil and Rs 150 for ref. The price of sunflower was Rs.150 and Rs.1500 for ref.

Palm oil prices fell to Rs 19 and crude palm oil CPO Kandla was at Rs 19. At Saurashtra, prices were quoted at Rs 1,200 for cingulum oil and Rs 1,050 to Rs 1,050 for 15 kg and Rs 150 to Rs 15 for cotton washed.

Meanwhile, castor oil prices rose by Rs 15 per 10 kg in the Mumbai spot market today, while spot castor prices rose by Rs 3 per kg. In Mumbai flour market, the price of soymeal fell by Rs 200 per tonne and cottonseed meal by Rs 1,000.

While the price of sunflower meal had gone up by Rs.1000 per tonne. However, others were quiet. Total palm oil exports from Malaysia increased by about 5-7 per cent in the first five days of February.

At Mundra-Hazira, various delivery prices of palm oil were quoted at Rs 150-150, soyoil at Rs 150-14 and sunflower at Rs 1,310. At Kakinada, prices were Rs 150 for palm oil and Rs 15 for sunflower. It was reported that Indonesia had issued export permits for the export of 210,000 tonnes of crude palm oil and 15,000 to 12,000 tonnes of palm oil.

At home, the country's revenue today was 1 lakh 30 to 3 thousand bales. The possibility of Indonesia easing palm oil export conditions was discussed in the world market. Soybean income in the country was 3 lakh 6 thousand times today. Prices in Madhya Pradesh ranged from Rs.500 to Rs.20. Mustard's income was 4,000 times in Rajasthan, where the price was Rs.
