Investors' wealth increased by Rs 2.31 lakh crore in one day to Rs 4.5 lakh crore

(Gujarat News Correspondent) MUMBAI: Global stock markets rallied yesterday, with the US Dow Jones and Nasdaq index rebounding and Indian stock markets rallied again today. Deloitte predicts a sharp rise in petrol and diesel prices in March, following the recent sharp rise in international crude oil prices, despite the continued risk of inflation as the global economy returns to normal as the Coro transition draws to a close. The possibility of an interest rate hike by the RBI has led to an aggressive rise in funds in stocks. Along with banking-finance stocks, IT-Software Services, Consumer Durables, Power-Capital Goods and Healthcare stocks, the Sensex jumped 3.6 points to close at 4.5 and the Nifty spot closed at 16.05 points. The US dollar had gained 3 paise to Rs 5.31 against the rupee.

Banking-finance stocks were shortlisted amid speculation that the reverse repo rate would be raised and the repo rate maintained, ahead of the Reserve Bank of India's lending policy review tomorrow, February 10. IT stocks rise behind Nasdaq: Persistent rises by Rs 301, Oracle by Rs 15, Coforge by Rs 15, MindTree by Rs 105

Adani Wilmer's second day of stormy bullish 50% circuit: 2% rise in two days

Shares of Adani Wilmer Ltd rose 12 per cent after it was listed at a discount on Tuesday. The stock rose by Rs 4, or 20 per cent, to close at Rs 219.50 in the upper circuit today. In two days, investors are getting a huge return of 7% on Adani Wilmer's stock. In the last upper circuit of NSE, there were buyers of 215 stocks in BSE and more than 21.10 lakh buyers in BSE. The market capitalization of Adani Wilmer Ltd rose to Rs 21,6.5 crore today with an aggressive rally in the stock.

Russia-Ukraine dispute calms down, crude supply rises, Brent falls to 70.50

International crude oil prices fell on the positive side of Iran's growing supply of crude oil to the world, a sign of a US-Iran agreement, as the dispute calmed down as Russia sought to negotiate a solution to Ukraine and negotiate a solution. Small, mid-cap stocks reduce funds, HNI rebound: 121 stocks close positive: 5 stocks bearish circuit

Sensex, Nifty based today again with a tumultuous rise in experts, funds, high networth investors, small, mid-cap, cash stocks improved market breadth. Of course, the market breadth was negative as the number of declining stocks remained high. Out of the total 9 scrips-shares traded on the BSE, the number of gainers today was 161 and the number of declines was 16. Only 30 stocks had a bullish upper circuit. FIIs - Foreign institutional investors, foreign portfolio investors - FPIs had a net sale of Rs 2.5 crore in cash on Wednesday. A total of Rs 303.04 crore was sold against a total purchase of Rs 216.5 crore. A total of Rs 3.04 crore was sold against a total purchase of Rs 2061.5 crore.
