Gold prices fall sharply from the peak in the world market


Mumbai: The weather was mixed in the Mumbai gold and silver market today. Gold prices continued to decline sharply from highs. When silver prices rose again. As the gold prices continued to fall in the world market, the import cost of gold at home came down and due to this a record bullish trend was seen in gold in the jewelery market. As the dollar index increased in the world market and the bond yield also increased, there was news that the sale of funds in global gold had increased. Global gold prices ranged from 1977 to 1978 lows of 1960 to 1963 to 1964 dollars an ounce.

Meanwhile, the price of gold in Ahmedabad jewelry market at home today fell by Rs.300 to Rs.99.90 to Rs.60,500 and Rs.60,700 to 99.90 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad silver prices remained calm at Rs 68,500 per kg. Meanwhile, silver prices rose today despite a retreat in gold in the global market. Global silver prices increased by 22.22 to 22.65 per ounce from 22.49 to 22.50 dollars. Silver rose as copper rose. Global copper prices rose by 1.65 to 1.70 percent today.

Meanwhile, platinum was soft in the world market. Platinum prices fell from 994 to 994 to 979 to 980 to 989 to 990 dollars per ounce. Palladium prices were 1422 to 1405 to 1406 dollars today from 1401 to 1402 an ounce. Global crude oil prices rose again today. There was talk of buying from China. New York crude rose by 66.45 to $68.94 a barrel, while Brent crude rose by 72.66 to $75 to $74.94.

In the Mumbai jewelery market today, the price of gold without GST was Rs.59241 at Rs.58951 at 99.50 and Rs.59188 at Rs.59474 at Rs.99.90. Mumbai silver prices were Rs.68,499 from Rs.68,238 without GST. In Mumbai gold and silver prices including GST were 3 percent higher than this price.
