Reliance Industries and Nita Ambani to bring 600 years of Indian history to Met
On July 21 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met), you will have a great opportunity to learn about the 600-year-old history of how Buddhist art originated in India. An exhibition is going to be organized in Met for that. The exhibition will be organized under 'Tree & Serpent: Early Buddhist Art in India, 200 BCE–400 CE'. It is going to be organized with the support of Reliance Industries Limited and Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani.
Nita Ambani became a trustee at the Met in 2019
A long-time supporter of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Nita Ambani became a trustee at the Met in 2019. He was the first person to join the Board of Trustees of this institution on behalf of India. At the same time, they are making efforts to present Indian art at the world level in the best possible way.

I am honored by the partnership between the Reliance Foundation and the Met in support of Tree & Support. More than 125 items will be displayed in it. There is a close relationship between India and Buddhism.
