1000 meters underground tunnel

Indian Railways is building an underground tunnel under 1000 meters in Mumbai which will be 2625 meters long. The work of which has now come to completion. Named as 'Wavarle Tunnel', this tunnel is for the railway project between Panvel-Karjet sector. Which has been prepared under the auspices of Central Railway Zone. The first blast for the tunnel was done on February 22, 2023. Railways has planned for three tunnels in Panvel-Karjet sector. It includes Nadhel Tunnel and Kiravli Tunnel besides Waverley.


Deepika's investment in a coffee company

Actress Deepika Padukone has invested heavily in coffee company Blue Tokai from her venture firm Ka Enterprises. The investment amount was not disclosed but Gurugram-based Blue Tokai has secured $30 million in Series B investment. After the growth of coffee culture in the country, the brands of coffee have also increased. Chains like Tata, Starbuck, Cafe Coffee Day have acquired Barista names. Foreign coffee chains include Pratt A Manger, Canada's Team Hartson, Blue Tokai, etc.


A flight connecting two ends of the country

For the first time, flights connecting North East from Delhi are starting through Indigo Airlines. This non-stop flight will connect the two ends of the country. The flight from Delhi to Itanagar is starting from October 2. Earlier, Mumbai to Itanagar and Kolkata to Itanagar flights took place on November 28, 2022. The flight from the capital to Itanagar will operate four days a week.
