Reliance, banking stocks lead rally: Sensex rises 359 points to 70865

FPI/FII's net sale of Rs.1636 crore in cash : DII's net purchase of Rs.1465 crore

Foreign Portfolio Investors - FPIs, FIIs had a net sale of shares worth Rs.1636.19 crore in cash today-Thursday. A total of Rs.11,351.48 crore worth of shares were sold against a total purchase of Rs.9715.29 crore. While DII-domestic institutional investors bought net shares worth Rs.1464.70 crore today. A total of Rs.8285.51 crore was sold against a total purchase of Rs.9750.21 crore.

The asset-market cap of investors in stocks increased by Rs.3.90 lakh crore to Rs.354.09 lakh crore.

After the setback, with the valuing of small, mid-cap stocks and buying in large-cap, frontline stocks, the total market capitalization of the listed companies in BSE increased by Rs.3.90 lakh crore to Rs.354.09 lakh crore in a single day today.
