Changes in the economic and political system of the entire world
- Atapata of Arthakarana-Dhawal Mehta
- China has the highest GDP based on purchasing power parity
The changes that are taking place in the fields of economics and politics in the present world are called changes related to the global world order in English. The five countries with the highest GDP in the world so far were America, China, Japan, Germany and the UK. India overtook the UK to the fifth position in terms of GDP only a year ago thanks to India's dynamic economy. Among the world's major economies, India's economic growth rate is six to seven percent, 7.2 percent is more than seven percent, and it is more than these rich countries, so the rich countries of the world are very surprised. Also, among the five countries with the highest GDP in the world, China, Japan and India are Asian countries, so it seems that in the past, the countries of Europe and America, and especially the British, were economically dominant over us. The possibility that Asian countries will dominate Europe-America after 2050 cannot be denied. We know that history is about the rise and fall of nations and it can happen in the future. In short, it is possible that the political and economic power currently in the hands of the Global North will fall to the Global South. E.g. In terms of GDP, America is the country with the highest GDP, but if we measure the GDP based on what is called purchasing power parity in economics, it is the country with the highest GDP in the world.
Political changes: There are big changes happening in the world politically. For 45 years from the end of World War II in 1945 to 1991, the world was divided into two poles, America and Soviet Russia. But with the end of the period of 1945-1991, which was considered as the time of 'Cold War', the world has become multi-polar. In which Asian countries have advanced. After the disintegration of Soviet Russia in 1941, China, which was not counted in 1945, has now overtaken Russia to become the second largest superpower. Now America is not afraid of Russia but of China's power. America's hostility has now increased against China than against Russia. The US has imposed heavy taxes on Chinese imports into the US. Believing this global environment to be less threatening, Tchukada continues to scare the world even more with the threat of nuclear war by North Korea's morbidly obese but boyish dictator.
China is becoming extremely regionalist by giving huge financial aid to the needy countries of the world, putting them in trouble and setting up bases in their territories. China has already digested all of Tibet and is now eager to annex Taiwan. The territory of India has also absorbed some territory. America and Western European countries plus to a lesser extent democracies while Russia, China and North Korea are becoming threats to the world.
Although the matter of satisfaction is that India is showing good progress in terms of economy but the right wing wave has returned in many European countries of the world including India. The wave of the right in the western world means that they have a feeling of disdain and somewhat contempt for the growing immigration and clinging to marketism in economics. A possible Trump victory in the US is a red signal for the US and the world as economic inequality is rampant even in marketist welfare states. It is very good news that 25 crore people have come out of multi-dimensional poverty in India in the last nine and a half years.
