Corona is followed by a 67 per cent drop in sales of MSMEs

All levels of economic activity have been adversely affected by the Corona epidemic as well as the adverse effects of the lockdown. As a result of the adversity, sales of six of the 1,200 small and medium-sized (MSMEs) companies listed on the stock exchange declined by up to 5 per cent during the June quarter, according to a study.
According to a study conducted by the CARE Rating Agency on the coroner's epidemic and lockdown of 12 listed companies on the stock market, i.e. operations / activities during the June quarter, small companies have been most adversely affected during this period.
Out of the 12 listed companies, 9 companies with a turnover of Rs. Companies with less than Rs 5 crore saw a 4 per cent decline in sales. Thus, the Corona epidemic-lockdown has had a serious impact on small companies.
However, during this period, large companies i.e. Rs. Sales of companies with a turnover of Rs 500 crore declined by 7.5 per cent. On the other hand, the sales of a company with a turnover of Rs 50 crore fell by 7.5 per cent and the sales of a company with a turnover of up to Rs 100 crore fell by 7.5 per cent.
According to experts, the epidemic has adversely affected companies around the world. According to a report by the global organization Mackenzie, the shutters of real estate, hotel-food parlors and small companies in the education sector will fall due to the adverse effects of the epidemic. Also companies that were not financially healthy before the epidemic. Those companies will also take over their business in the wake of the epidemic.
The study found that most companies believe the effects of the epidemic will be long-lasting. It is unlikely to improve in the near future.
