FII's first-ever રોકાણ 609 billion investment in India
Mumbai: Foreign investors have set a new record in the Indian stock market. For the first time, they have made a net investment of ૯ 206 billion, or Rs 3 lakh crore, in the stock market. His field of choice is banking and financial. Earlier last week, India's forex reserves reached પ્રથમ 200 billion for the first time.
According to the depository NSDL, their total investment is ૯ 203 billion. His preferred sectors have been banking and financial sector. It alone accounts for 4.16 per cent of the total investment. Investment in software and services stood at 12.5 per cent. Oil and gas account for 10 per cent and automobiles for 7.5 per cent. It has an investment of 3.05 per cent in pharma and 4.5 per cent in capital goods. Food, beverages, tobacco accounted for 4.5 per cent and consumer durables 2.4 per cent.
In December 2016, the total investment of foreign investors in the Indian stock market was Rs 21 lakh crore. However, as the Indian market doubled in Corona in one year, so did its investment. In Asia, the Indian stock market had the highest return of 12 per cent this year. It holds about 50% of the market capitalization of the Indian market.
These investors are a major contributor to the growth of the stock market. Their investment has led to a steady rise in the market and a new record high this month. According to depository data, they withdrew Rs 150 crore from the Indian market in May. Earlier in April, investors had also sold shares worth Rs 3 crore.
