Silver bulls rise: Platinum rises to 11 1,100
(Gujarat News Office) MUMBAI: Silver prices rose in the Mumbai jewelery market today. In the Ahmedabad market today, the price of silver jumped by Rs 300 per kg to Rs 30,000 and was trading at Rs 30,200. Meanwhile, gold prices in the Mumbai market today remained generally sluggish amid two-way narrow fluctuations.
Meanwhile, gold prices in the world market fell from ૭૮૬ 15 to ૭૮૭ 16 an ounce to ૭૭૭ 15 to ૭૭૮ 17 an ounce and then rose again to ૭૮૮ 16 to ૭૮૮ 12 today. Silver prices in the global market rose from ૯૯ 8.05 to ૭ 8.05 an ounce and then rose again to ૨૬ 6.5 to ૨૭ 7.5 an ounce today. Domestic silver prices were bouncing behind the world market today.
Import costs were high. In the Mumbai jewelery market, silver today was trading at Rs 415 per kg excluding GST, while prices with GST were three per cent higher. Meanwhile, gold prices in Ahmedabad market remained calm today at Rs 2.50 per 10 grams and Rs 600 per 2.50.
While in the Mumbai market today, the price of gold without GST was Rs 850 from Rs 8.50 to close at Rs 6, 2013, while the price of 7.50 was closing at Rs 305 from Rs 319 to Rs 305, while the price with GST is three times this price. Percent remained high.
Meanwhile, the dollar index fell against a basket of various currencies in the world market and bond and treasury yields also retreated. Platinum prices in the world market today jumped from ૯૫ 105 to ૯૬ 105 an ounce, surpassing the 1,100 level and hitting 1,110 to ૧ 1,111.
Palladium prices rose by ૨૬૩૬ 3 to વિશ્વ 5 in the world market today and then fell to ૨૬૪૭ 4 to ૨૬૪૮ 4 at one point.
Unemployment claims in the US were down, while data on new capital goods borders were weaker than expected. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in New York, was trading at ૭૪ 2.4 a barrel and Brent crude was trading at 4.5 a barrel. Copper prices in global markets remained positive by 0.15 to 0.50 per cent this evening, which helped global silver prices.
