China's economic growth in the June quarter was lower than expected

BEIJING: China's economy grew slower than expected in the second quarter of this year. Slower manufacturing activity, higher raw material prices and new Corona cases have slowed the recovery.

Compared to the June quarter of 2030, China's economic growth rate has been 7.50%. Analysts had expected a growth rate of 7.10 per cent.

In the March quarter, the growth rate was as high as 19.50 per cent, while in the March quarter of 2020, the GDP figures were quite different.

Uneven recovery in China is becoming a matter of concern. In China, an increase in domestic consumption is essential, said one analyst. However, retail sales in July are looking strong, which is a relief for China, he added.
