Israel-Hamas War: Ministry of Finance has expressed concern about the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. The Finance Ministry's Economic Department has released its Monthly Economic Review Report for the month of September, which says global uncertainty has increased with recent developments in West Asia.

Possibility of increase in crude oil prices

The finance ministry said in its report that if the situation continues, the price of crude oil may increase. The report has expressed the possibility of a decline in the American stock market. If this happens, it may affect the markets of other countries. According to the report of the finance ministry, the risk has increased due to the global political situation and if this risk increases, its impact can be seen on the economic activity of India along with other countries.

India may be affected

The finance ministry said in its outlook in the monthly economic report that the supply of US Treasuries and the tight monetary policy of the US Federal Reserve could affect the financial situation. Currently, there is more danger of a fall than a rise in the American stock market. If this happens, it may affect the stock markets of other countries as well. The finance ministry said in its report that global risks may increase due to uneasiness in the global political situation and if this risk increases, it may have an impact on the economic activity of various countries including India.

A drop in inflation

The Ministry of Finance has said in its report that inflation has come down in the month of September. This shows that the increase in the inflation rate in the last two months was temporary.
