Corona's move allowed jobs around the world to work from home so as not to hurt the economy further. But tax experts say you have to be prepared to pay more tax if you work from home.

Until now Convenience Allowance was tax free, House Renter Allowance was tax free and Leave Travel Allowance was also free. Some companies also offered work-from-home allowances. Most of the jobs in Corona's time were working from home. That is why experts say that Convenience Allowance will no longer be tax free.

If you are working from home then you cannot claim for leave travel allowance. Completely tax free if offered as a Convenience Allowance Reimbursement. However, he has to submit a travel bill.

Tax experts say that if you work from home, you can no longer claim leave travel allowance. Make a claim and if the claim is passed, the income generated for that purpose will be considered as taxable income. Then comes the house rent.

If you live in a rented house in the city and moved to a village with relatives during the Koro period or leave the rented house and go elsewhere, house rent will also be considered taxable income, these experts say. A tax expert said that if a tenant vacates a rented house and no longer pays the rent, the house rent allowance he receives from the company will automatically be considered taxable income.

Companies that offer work-from-home allowances and do not require an account of where or how the money is spent may also be taxed by the employee. To get rid of all this hassle, some big companies were looking for options so that the employee would not get more tax liability.
