With the opening of the temple, there is a huge opportunity for hotels and tourist industry in Ayodhya

Mumbai: Five crore visitors are expected to visit Ayodhya every year with Ram Mandir opening in Ayodhya. Apart from this, hotels, transport sector and food and beverage industry are also expected to get big business. According to an estimate, 10 billion dollars have been spent on the transformation of Ayodhya by getting a new airport, railway station improvements, road facilities etc.
Keeping in mind the rush that will happen with the opening of the Ram temple, the big hotel companies of the country are planning to open hotels. Apart from this, airlines are also starting flights to Ayodhya from various cities.
Apart from religious places, festivals are very important for the development of the country's economy. The hotel and hospitality industry plans to establish its presence around the temple to attract pilgrims and tourists, the report said.
A total of five crore pilgrims from home and abroad are expected to visit Ayodhya every year. Ayodhya has come on the world map with Ramlalla's life prestige.
Currently there are 17 to 18 big hotels around Ayodhya, now 73 hotels are coming up. Out of which 40 hotels are under construction.
With the increase in the number of visitors, FMCG, food and beverage and quick service restaurants (QSR) have also created business opportunities here.
The aviation and railway sectors are also expected to benefit greatly due to the pilgrims' visit.
Keeping in view the possibility of increasing trade, the banks of the country are also rushing to open more branches. Ayodhya is expected to continue to attract tourists from around the world to visit the Ram temple.
There are also indications that banks are planning to increase their branches to provide various services to domestic and international travelers.
