50-year long rally in Indian stock market: Mark Mobius
MUMBAI: The Indian stock market continues to hit new highs while Chinese markets are slowing down. With that in mind, well-known stock investor and analyst Mark Mobius has allocated about half of its emerging-market funds to India and Taiwan to help offset the decline in China's stock market, which has reduced the overall returns of developing countries. Veteran investor Mark Mobius has allocated about 50 per cent of the funds allocated for emerging markets to equities in India and Taiwan. The allocation comes in a bid to offset a decline in returns from developing countries due to falling Chinese stock prices. In an interview to a TV channel, Mark Mobius said that India is on a 20-year rally even if there is a slight recession. India today has reached where China was ten years ago.
