(Gujarat News Office) MUMBAI: The dollar rebounded against the rupee in early trade today, hitting a new low of Rs 5. After opening at Rs 6.5 this morning, the dollar touched a low of Rs 4.5 and a high of Rs 2.11. The dollar had gained 12 paise today and the rupee had weakened. Despite the rise in the stock market index today, the rupee remained under pressure in the currency market, market sources said.
