Eating in private in gold and silver late in the evening

The discovery of the anti-corona vaccine by Pfizer, which is close to success, led to a sharp fall in the price of the precious metal in the world market late in the evening. Compared to today's official closing price, gold prices in private were quoted below Rs 1,000.

In private, silver also lost more than Rs 200. A positive report on the vaccine issue will support the economy, which has resulted in a more than eight per cent rise in crude oil prices due to increased demand. Prices of industrial metals also rose. The rupee saw mixed flows against major currencies in the domestic currency market.

In the domestic market, gold in the Mumbai market rose by Rs 2.50 per 10 grams, excluding GST, from Rs 3,150 last weekend to Rs 310. Prices were quoted three per cent higher with GST. The gold price was Rs 2.50 with GST and Rs 200 with Rs 200. Silver was trading at Rs 305 with Rs 70.

In the Ahmedabad market, gold rose by Rs 100 to Rs 200 per ten grams at Rs 2.50 and Rs 2,100 per gram. Silver rose by Rs 3,000 to Rs 2,000 per kg.

After the market closed on Monday, positive reports about the vaccine came in the wake of the official closing price of gold in Mumbai on the back of the world market.

Gold in global markets fell by ડો 20 to ૯ 1,211 an ounce from last week's close. Silver was trading at ૨૪ 4.5, up from ૬૨ 4.5. Platinum was trading at ૮૯૬ 6 an ounce, while palladium was trading at ૨૪૪૨ 8 an ounce.

The discovery of the vaccine will lead to a recovery in the global economy, which has seen crude oil prices rise by as much as eight per cent on rising demand. New York crude was trading at 70.8 a barrel, while Brent crude was trading at 4.50. Industrial metal copper also saw a rise in prices.

In the domestic currency market, the dollar was down 3 paise at Rs 2.15, the pound was down 3 paise at Rs 2.7 and the euro was up 50 paise at Rs 2.09.
