- Some Indian companies have tied up with Chinese companies to showcase their vehicles at the Auto Expo.

Major Chinese vehicle manufacturers are expanding their footprints in the automobile sector in India. On the other hand, China is trying to sell its cars in India through the back door with the help of other countries. Some Indian companies have tied up with Chinese companies to showcase their vehicles at the Auto Expo. Indian companies are preparing vehicles by assembling Chinese technology and parts.

The brand label is from Italy, Spain and England but the parent company is from China

The participation of Chinese companies is seen in many well-known companies with car and bike manufacturers in Italy, Spain, England. Some companies manufacture vehicle parts in China and bring them to India to be assembled and sold. Some Chinese companies are looking for ways to attract the middle and upper middle class to sell their products. Auto Expo-2023 had more than 10 companies that assembled their car parts indirectly from China.

Many companies in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi and Chennai are buying such parts from Italy and Spain and have agreements with them, which originally manufacture the goods from Chinese companies. It means that these companies are entering the Indian auto market with the help of Italy and Spain.

BYD India has brought three cars to the Auto Expo. The company can assemble around 50,000 cars per year at the Chennai-based plant. In which the electric SUV model has been introduced at 33.99 lakh rupees. Apart from this, the electric car E6 has been introduced for around 29 lakhs. These cars will be launched in the Indian market very soon.
