Minister middle class, public high class in Amrit period

- The poorest in our country, if anyone, is the government, the poor man spends his days in debt

As winter is the season of conferences and seminars, several economists gathered for a pre-budget seminar.

An economist says, 'Now the analysis of the budget is supposed to be done not on an economic basis, but on a political basis, that is, according to ideological loyalty. So I have no interest if this seminar is about that issue. '

Another economist says, 'There has been a tremendous change. Whatever bit of economics we have learned and taught is becoming useless and has to be updated. '

The third economist yawns and says, 'When was the economics we taught useful, now it is useless. '

A senior economist says, 'Neither the government nor the people are interested in our analysis of the budget. We the people have to take care of ourselves, but this is not a matter of one year's budget. It is a big change. Our finance minister has declared that he comes from the middle class.'

An economist began to shout, 'Neither ghost nor fortune. It is not in our hands to change the definition of who is called a minister, but we have to change the definition of middle class. '

Senior says, 'I have already said that the time has come to change all theories. Look, we all believed that people are suffering due to inflation, depressed by unemployment, people are agitated due to inflation, but all these now elections prove that people are happy even with inflation. It only means that these people are no longer middle class, but have become high class. In true sense this is Amrit Kaal. '

Another economist says, 'True... But in this immortal age, if anyone is the poorest, it is the poor government. Just as a poor person does not have money for education or health, the government does not have money for education and health. Just as a poor person cannot support his elderly elders, the government also cannot give railway ticket concessions to the elders. Just like the poor sell their utensils to run their houses, the government also sells all the government companies, lands to run its work. Just as the poor believe that the pockets of the rich are never empty and the less they give in charity, the government also believes that the pockets of the public are never empty and the less they give in income tax, GST property tax, road tax, toll tax. '

The third economist says, 'What is the essence of the whole thing? '

The senior says, 'It's simple. Now it cannot be asked why there is nothing for the middle class in the coming budget. The middle class finance minister will say that I am not selfish to do anything for myself.'

The fourth economist says exasperatedly, 'Now stop the rhetoric. The days of ministers becoming middle class have come, but the days of economists becoming ministers are long gone. '

In a rare gesture even economists laughed at this.

By saying that he comes from the middle class, the finance minister has in a way torn the budget paper. Now, it is not surprising if you hear all the words such as austerity, cost cutting, triple, savings, side income in the budget.
