Four out of every five professionals looking for new jobs in 2023, LinkedIn reveals in its report

Amidst the global economic situation and the lack of employment, the number of professionals looking for an opportunity to change jobs is constantly increasing. LinkedIn has disclosed this in one of its reports. According to the online platform, four out of every five people i.e. about 80 percent of Indian professionals are planning to change jobs in 2023.

The reason for this major change in professionals' outlook is a 23 percent drop in hiring levels in December 2022 compared to 2021. 88 percent of those looking to change jobs in 2023 fall into the Zen Z category. Whose age is 18 to 24 years. Among those who think so, the number of 45- to 54-year-olds is 64 percent lower.

78 percent of the people who were surveyed said that if they get another job, they have to leave this job right now. The main reason behind this is 43 percent people feel that job insecurity. Because recently layoffs are going on in many companies.
