After 29 years, Intel India Head Retired Rai resigned from the company

Intel India chief Vivruti Rai has resigned from the company after 29 years. Viruthi Rai was the Head and Vice President of Intel Foundry Services in India. Retirement Rai joined Intel in February 1994 as a Design Engineer.

India head of Intel India and Vice President of Intel Foundry Services, Virutti Rai is leaving the company after 29 years. Intel India has made great progress under Nivrithi's leadership, Intel said in a statement. Rai, who started out as a design engineer with Intel, worked with the company in the US from 1994 to 2005. In September 2005, he moved to Bangalore as Senior Director of Chipset Engineering and Interactive Property Development in the group.

Virutti Rai was awarded the Nari Shakti Award in the year 2022 for her extraordinary contribution to women's empowerment. Outside the US, India is Intel's largest engineering center. It may be noted here that this is the second major resignation from Intel in the last few months. In November last year, the company's foundry services president Randhir Thakur left the company.
