Gold - Silver declines from higher prices: Global gold back under $2000


Mumbai: In the Mumbai jewelery market today, the prices of gold and silver remained on the decline. The world market news was showing the selling of funds in the bullish headline. In Mumbai gold-silver prices including GST were three percent higher than this price. In Ahmedabad jewelry market today, the price of gold at 99.50 was Rs.63300 and the price of 99.90 was Rs.63500 and the price of silver was at Rs.74000.

Meanwhile, in the Mumbai currency market today, the dollar price against the rupee was Rs.83.33 at a high of Rs.83.36 and a low of Rs.83.29 at the last closing price of Rs.83.34. The price of the British pound increased by 12 paise to 104.51.

While the price of the European currency Euro increased by nine paise. The price of Euro crossed Rs.91 to Rs.91.09 and finally the price was Rs.90.94. There were indications that the dollar index was 103.71 in the world market.

The currencies of Japan and China rose against the rupee today. Meanwhile, the holiday mood was seen in America amid the Thanksgiving festivities. There were indications that the job market has strengthened again as the unemployment claims decreased by 24 thousand to 2 lakh 9 thousand.

Meanwhile, in the global market today, platinum prices were at a low of 940 to 922 to 924 to 925 dollars per ounce, while palladium prices were 1051 to 1055 to 1056 dollars to a low of 1073 to 1074 per ounce. Global copper prices rose by 0.45 to 0.50 percent today. Crude oil prices fell in the world market. There were directives to postpone the OPEC meeting.

Crude prices were at $75.81 to $76.42, down from $76.80 a barrel, while Brent crude was down $80.55 to $81.25 from $81.43 a barrel.
