Extensive knowledge about plastics industry

Plastic is a waxy and bendable chemical. It is separated from petroleum crude by purification. It is used for different types of solids (shapes) made by giving certain shapes. This process is done in different machinery and in different types and compositions. There are two processes. (1) Cold process (2) Hot-molded In this process, a die is used to shape the shape.

Composition :- This composition is kept at room temperature. After that the process runs according to high and low heat cycle. In which heating and cooling system is automatic. This process consists of two other compounds. (1) Feeler and (2) Binder The property of the binder is to make it symmetrical, while the filler is to make the product bulkier, so that the composition price can be brought down. Sometimes the plastic has to be made hard as well as elastic (stretchable).

Binder :- This binder consists of organic or in-organic compounds, in which cement, lituminous, resin, cellulose gum etc. are used to make the composition hard. While oil, wax, solvent, plasticizer are used for softening.

Filler :- Cottonfloc, woodflour, clay, fiber, silica, mica and other minerals can be used as filler.

Special ingredients for the composition:

Polypropylene :- This chemical is a type of xinline thermoplastic polymer. Its molecular weight is about 40,000. Specific catalyst is obtained with propylene for polymerization.

Uses :- Used in film packaging, automobile moulding, houseware, food containers, toys, soft drink bottles etc.

Polycarbonate :- This chemical is a type of thermoplastic, which is derived from bisphenol-A and phosgene. Its polyester is carbolic acid. This type of material is not affected by ozone. Can withstand extreme heat.

Uses :- Molding products can be used in film tubes, non-breakable street lights, house-hold appliances etc.

: Information about plastic industry :

Polystyrene :- This chemical is a type of polymerized styrene thermoplastic synthetic resin. This resin is polymerized at different molecular weights, degrees. Co-polymerization of this chemical can be done with butadiene and acrylonitrile.

Uses :- Used for refrigerator doors, air conditioner caches, electrical equipment, toys, radios, cabinets, clocks, thermal insulation, ice buckets, water coolers etc.

Polyurethane :- This chemical is a thermoplastic polymer. This chemical is a composition of polyiso-cyanate and hydroxyl containing material.

Use :- Used for wire coating, tank lining, paints etc.

Polysulfone :- This chemical is a synthetic thermoplastic. This chemical is derived from bisphenol and dichloro phenyl sulfone.

Uses :- Power tools housing, electrical equipment, auto components, computer components etc.

Elastomer :- This chemical is a synthetic thermosetting polymer. Its properties are vulcanized rubber type.

Uses :- Used for wire and cable coating, automobile bumpers.

Thermoplastic :- Whenever heat is given to this chemical, it melts and returns to its original form. It is a kind of rubber. It can be used as a synthetic with polyvinyl chloride, nylon, polyurethane, polystyrene, polypropylene.

Polythene :- The real name of this chemical is polyethylene. But people pronounce it like polythene. This chemical is used to make more plastic bags.

Color :- Ingredients like pigment, pearl pigment, titanium dioxide can be used.

Color Testing Machine :- Color concentration, non-dusting color, color matching, color lot-to-lot consistency, color management system etc. can be checked with this machine.

License :- The license under the Industries Act and clearance from Explosive Authorities is a must.
