An auspicious time to tie rakhi to brother
It is to be mentioned that this time there has been a debate whether to celebrate Raksha Bandhan on August 30 or August 31. According to some astrologers, 9:05 pm to 10:55 pm on August 30 is the only Muhurta for tying Rakhi. On the other hand, some astrologers believe that Rakshabandhan can be done religiously for the whole day of August 31-Thursday and the whole day is pure. Shravan Purnima will be celebrated on August 31 itself in Shaktipeeth Ambaji, Dakor. Poonam will be filled in Shaktipeeth Ambaji on August 31 itself. Also, at the famous Dwarkadhis temple at Devbhoomi Dwarka, the black thakor will be changed after 12 noon on Janoi 30 August while there is Poonam on 31 August. Similarly, Shravani Purnima will be celebrated on August 31 itself in Ranchhodraiji temple of Dakor. However, if we talk about Gujarat, according to astrologers, Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated on one day and not on 2 days. This year the Poonama Tithi of the month of Shravan will be from 10:58 AM on August 30 to 7:58 AM on August 31.
