Chandrayaan-3: The share price of the company involved in the space sector rose


- Share prices of space companies have increased by 11 to 23 percent

- Addition of 2.50 billion dollars to the market cap of rising equities of 13 companies.

MUMBAI: Ahead of the landing of Chandrayaan-3, the share prices of 13 companies associated with the space sector in India have surged, adding $2.50 billion to the market cap of equities in the current week.

Chandrayaan-3 has not only given India's space programs global recognition, but also created opportunities for private companies involved in the country's space sector.

As many as 13 listed companies, which supply electronic equipment and metal gears used in rocket communication and navigation, rose significantly in share prices and added $2.50 billion to their market cap.

Among the companies that saw share price rise are Amtar, BHEL, L&T, Hindustan Aero., Walchandnagar Ind., Mishra Dhatu Nigam, Linde India, Centum Electronics, Avantel. In the current week, the share price of these companies has increased by 11 to 23 percent.

After Chandrayaan-3, India's Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is preparing to undertake several space programs in the next year. In which some countries of the world are also eager to join.
