Corona Effect: Rs. 37.6 crore erosion

In the financial year of 2020, due to the adverse effects arising in the wake of the Corona virus, the stock market in the financial year 2020 will be able to recover Rs. 37.6 lakh crore was eroded.
As the economic slowdown along with the spread of corona virus across the world, the global recession has also had a serious impact on the Indian stock market, which is hitting markets worldwide. This adverse effect was widespread during the last two and a half months.
Following these reports, Indian stock markets underperformed the decade in the financial year 2020 following heavy selling pressure from Chomer. The Nifty lost 28.8 per cent in the financial year 2020 and 26.5 per cent in the Sensex during the financial year of 2020. Thus, after a decade, the stock market underperformed.
At the end of March, 2020, the market cap of BSE is Rs. 113.48,756 crore as against 1,51,08,711 crore at the end of the previous fiscal year 2019. Thus, it has a revenue of Rs. 37,59,954 crore is down.
The trading in the market has also declined due to adverse market conditions. The number of contracts traded on the NSE during the last March was 39.98 crore. 49.91 crore in February and 54.41 crore in January. The number of index options also fell to 34.9 million. While derivatives turnover fell to Rs. 240.73 lakh crore was derived.
