Increase in equity funds raised by corporate sector through various routes

During the recently completed fiscal year, the funds raised by the corporate sector through various routes of equity increased by 5%. Different routes include IPOs, Qualified Investment Placement (QIP), rights and bond issuances.

According to the available data, during the financial year of 9th, the Indian companies have made a total of Rs. 1 crore was raised. During the last financial year, Rs. 1 crore was raised.

The companies raised Rs 5 crore through IPOs. Whereas through QIP Rs. 1 crore was raised. However, the fundraising process through IPO was halted due to coronavirus after January. However, there are currently 5 companies with SEBI approval to bring IPOs. Through this, Rs 1 crore will be raised.

During the allotted time, there was an incredible five-fold increase in QIP activity. On the other hand, the funds collected through the Right Issue have increased by four times to Rs. 1 crore was reached. However, during the last financial year, funds raised through bonds declined by a cent. During the last financial year, through 1 bond issue Rs. 1 crore was raised. During the last financial year, Rs. 5 crore was raised through 3 issues.
