HDFC Bank deposits increased by 24 per cent to Rs 11.46 lakh crore

Private banking giant HDFC Bank Limited's deposits increased by 5 percent to Rs 1.8 lakh crore in the quarter ended March 1. That was Rs 5.5 lakh crore as on March 1, the same period last year. Thus, deposits have increased by 5% over the corresponding period of the previous year. At the end of December 1, December 1, it was worth Rs 1.8 lakh crore.

The bank's credit was at Rs 1.8 lakh crore as of March 1, which has increased by 5 percent to Rs 1.8 lakh crore as of March 1. As of December 1, December 2, it was Rs 5.5 lakh crore. The bank's Casa (Current Account Savings Account) ratio has risen to 5 percent from 6.7 percent in the same period last year, compared to 5 percent on December 2. The total purchase of the bank's loans during the quarter is Rs. 1 crore through Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) Limited under the direct assignment route under Home Loan Arrangement.

It may be recalled that investors were slowing down by selling shares of banks and finance companies at risk of weakening the banking and finance sector's assets. Moody's Investor Services has also estimated that credit sorrows in many sectors, sectors and markets will be accompanied by poor economic outlook due to the Corona virus. HDFC Bank's share price also fell 5.7 percent to Rs 5 on Friday, April 5.
