India's petrol pumps are providing the cleanest petrol and diesel in the world without raising prices, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) said in a statement.
India's petrol pumps have been selling BS-3 petrol and diesel instead of BS-1 since April. Although the cost of producing BS-1 petrol and diesel has been reduced by one rupee, the burden has not been laid on the people of the country.
On the other hand, due to the Corona epidemic, crude prices have fallen to a three-year low. The IOC said in a statement that the price of petrol and diesel has not been raised despite the decline in production of BS-1 petrol and diesel.
The IOC has further stated that the increase in VAT on petrol and diesel in Maharashtra, Karnataka and West Bengal has led to a one-way increase in the prices of petrol and diesel in these states.
